This is an experimental blog intended to be mostly R software posts, which I can occasionally contribute to the r-bloggers site. In case you were wondering, JP are the initials of my first and middle name, and "six" or "sixer" was one of my nicknames from years past. In the R communinity, it is standard to include R in a term with only the R capitalized, such as useR, which is the term for "R users", and thus the origin of this blog title.
I have contributed some R packages to CRAN (haplo.stats/kinship2/pedgene), and co-authored a few more on my lab's webpage. Hopefully I have something useful to add and discuss.
